Corn can grow as tall as 6' and have a spread of 1 to 1-1/2', so you will need room to grow rainbow flint corn.

If you plant the corn in rows, space the seeds 4" apart in rows that are 18" to 24" apart, then thin the seedlings to 12" apart when they reach 4" tall.
