Danyelle is a deep wine-colored leaf lettuce type. Compared to Red Salad Bowl, the color is a deeper red, and the rosettes are fuller and more upright with a compact habit. Its flavor is sweet and crispy. A cold-weather crop best planted in the spring and the fall.
