This open-pollinated corn was bred by Alan Kapuler of Peace Seeds from a stabilized cross of Painted Mountain flour corn and Luther Hill sweet corn for growing in short seasons. This lineage lends it to germinating well in cool, wet soils. It matures from white for fresh eating to multiple colors once dried. A great option for that old-time classic corn flavor. Produces 2 or more 7-8 inch ears per stock.
