Artichoke Green Globe is a tender perennial, typically grown commercially in the gulf and California coasts. These 3 to 6 feet tall plants produce 3-to-4-inch heads with thick scales and solid centers. Green Globe needs a mild, damp, long season with rich soil to grow well. These edible flower heads are best harvest when young.
