Prizewinner is known for its blue-ribbon-worthy yields of large, glossy and vibrant bean pods containing violet and black speckled beans. The vines can grow up to 12-16 feet tall with support. These beans are best when they are picked young yet are flavorful at nearly any stage and can be eaten fresh or dried.
