If the traditional Deer Tongue Red leaves you wanting more, try this new selection in a series of three varieties that meets your requests for bright red color. Its leaves are long, pointed, and dark red with a contrasting white midrib. Deer Tongue Really Red is difficult to classify by type. The leaves begin as a unique, dark-red, cutting type, then later forms a semi romaine heart.
