An ugly duckling sister to the Pumpkin Cinderella but a beauty of its own. Pumpkin Ugly Duckling is a French heirloom and its skin ranges between a pale yellow to a dark orange with an occasional green stripe. The skin is slightly rough, with a few bumps. This thick flesh pumpkin is sweet, almost custard-like.
