An heirloom from China, Watermelon is a large white rooted radish with green shoulders. The inside flesh is red to pink and is very sweet and crisp unlike most radish. Watermelon contains large tops for ease in picking. Pick these babies while they are colorful and still small. They do great in salads and as garnishes!
