Siena is a high-quality, sturdy Italian basil with high-density branching. This variety is suited perfectly for a 5-to-6-inch fresh cut. Siena has a very high resistance to powdery mildew and bolts slower than most basil varieties on the market. One trial report stated this basil was almost bulletproof.
