Small Sugar is 1863 heirloom pumpkin that ranges from 4 to 7 pounds. These small almost round pumpkins have slightly flattened ends, fruit diameter is 5 to 7 inches. The very sweet, dry, non-stringy, golden flesh is fine grained and prized for general culinary use. Named for its traditional pie and canning use the flesh is also wonderful baked.
