Pilgrim is a hybrid butternut squash that performs well under a wide variety of growing conditions and has a strong tolerance to resist cracking and bleeding. The compact plant produces uniform fruits that weigh 3 pounds, with thick, meaty necks. Butternut squash are considered the standard winter squash for Fall and winter cuisine.
