Large pink irregular flattened fruit to 5 in. 1-1.5 lb sweet flavor seems to be exspressed best in northern areas while the quality is more variable in southern areas heirloom from Lebanon brought to this country by a Lebanese college student who got the seed from farmers living in Lebanese hills.
