DESCRIPTION
Growing Copenhagen Market Garden Seeds
Growing Directions:
This variety of cabbage can either be planted directly outdoors or sown indoors and transplanted. It is important when transplanting seedlings to do so after a month or so, and harden off the plants throughout the course of a week. When finding a spot for these plants, look for an area with either full or partial sun. The soil should be moist, and it is helpful to add compost to it. Sow seeds about a half inch deep. Keep plants one and a half feet apart, and rows two feet apart. They will need around 65-70 days to reach their full maturity. When they are about 7 inches in diameter and firm, they are ready to be harvested. To harvest them, it is most beneficial to remove the plant as a whole, including the stem and root. This will keep the soil healthy afterward.
